Moira Fett is a filmmaker living in Brooklyn, New York. Her work in both documentary and narrative storytelling seeks to uncover the contours of human behavior under environmental pressures. She is currently in post-production on the feature documentary UPSTREAM, which she is co-directing with Natalie Berger. The film follows a group of young men living on a remote island in Southeast Alaska as they work to protect one of the world's last thriving wild salmon runs. Through an intimate, character-driven lens, UPSTREAM explores themes of conservation, masculinity, and coming of age, and has received support from DOC NYC and Sheffield DocFest MeetMarket.

Most recently, Moira co-directed the short documentary THE GRACE (Vimeo Staff Pick, 2026, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, 2025). Her narrative shorts include PRACTICE (Florida Film Festival, 2020) and TWO BIRDS (Middlebury Film Festival, 2019). In 2018, she was awarded the Sally Burns Shenkman Woman Filmmaker Fellowship at the Jacob Burns Film Center.
